Her exceptional academic achievements were further acknowledged when she received the prestigious Yardley Best Cosmetologist Award. Driven by a commitment to excellence, she built a successful professional career spanning over 15 years across some of the world's most respected organizations, including Hindustan Unilever Limited (HLL), Four Seasons Hotels, Dr. Batra’s, and VLCC Training Institutes.

Throughout her corporate journey, Smita held leadership roles in training, sales, business development, and operations management. Her experience in developing people, building teams, creating training systems, and driving business growth provided her with deep insights into human potential and learning. She became known for her ability to inspire, mentor, and empower individuals to achieve their best.

While her corporate career was thriving, Smita discovered a deeper purpose through her involvement as a volunteer scripture teacher. Working closely with children opened her eyes to the immense impact that nurturing young minds can have on shaping the future. She realized that her true calling lay in education—helping children develop confidence, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning.

Inspired by this vision, she founded Genius Abacus in 2022 with a simple yet powerful mission: to make mathematics enjoyable, meaningful, and accessible for every child.
